On Wednesday, July 13, Brooklyn’s answer to the late night talk show, NOT QUITE MIDNIGHT, celebrates its second birthday at Littlefield with a star-studded lineup. Hosts Courtney Maginnis and Chris Calogero will introduce their favorite comedians for short performances, then take them to couch to get to the bottom of their jokes.
Not Quite Midnight is a unique take on a traditional setup, and on July 13th, it will feature:
Jacqueline Novak (Author of "How to Weep in Public", Late Late Show with James Corden)
Joe Pera (Late Night with Seth Meyers, Adult Swim’s “Joe Pera Talks You To Sleep”)
Ryan T Bennett (TruTV, Fort Tilden)
Carmen Lagala(Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Wigging out with Carmen)
with Special Appearance by new socially conscious Hip-Hop legend Junior Assassin
PLUS SOME SPECIAL GUESTS AND SURPRISES!
With announcer Steve Whalen and one-man late night band Steven DeSiena, NOT QUITE MIDNIGHT is the kitschy, self-aware version of a late night talk show. But live. And on the dirty shores of the Gowanus Canal. And at the very reasonable hour of 8 PM.
Tickets to NOT QUITE MIDNIGHT’S two year anniversary show are just $5 advance/$8 day-of and can be purchased on Littlefield’s website.
In a scene saturated in traditional standup shows, the producers of NQM thank you in advance for helping get the word out about an event that offers a new type of comedy.
