BackFat Variety's 75 Comedians for a Cause: A Benefit for Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue

On Saturday, March 19 BackFat Variety hosts a marathon comedy show to benefit Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue, a non-profit group that finds homes for dogs in high kill shelters.
A $10 suggested donation goes directly to Badass!

7 PM March Madness Joke Contest: 64 standup comedians deliver their best one-liners in this rapid-fire, bracket-style contest. Come watch, laugh, and vote on which comedian should be crowned Best Joke Writer in Brooklyn. 

9:30 - Midnight: Characters, standup, music & more! The second half of the night features sets from some of the most accomplished comedians in Brooklyn: Myq Kaplan (Conan, Letterman, Last Comic Standing), Colin Nissan (author of IT'S DECORATIVE GOURD SEASON, MOTHERFUCKERS), Giulia Rozzi (The Jim Gaffigan Show, Chelsea Lately, MTV, Moth GrandSlam Champ), Sam Evans (Just For Laughs Montreal), improv singer Rebecca Vigil, Chris Calogero (Not Quite Midnight), Kale Bogdanovs (Devour Hour), and Patrick Hastie (Jackknife Comedy). More names to be announced!
